Everyone who lives in New York carries their own version of it: the reason they came here. The coffee shops they swear by. The restaurants they return to again and again. The hidden gems and corners that feel like home…
No two NYC stories are written the same way.
Alexis’ session needed to reflect her story.

We started with a list of her favorite places and landed on her Top 3; each very New York, and each meaningful to her:
The Met Museum, Central Park, and her local Barnes & Noble.
creative direction
A one-hour shoot capturing what NYC looks like to her: the dreamy, the cozy, the messy, and everything in between.
We leaned into a slightly cinematic style, using soft highlights, bold shadows, and natural movement that reflected her transition into a new chapter.

Together, we shaped the feeling of a goodbye letter: warm, intimate, nostalgic, and personal… but with that unique NYC vibe.
